Gros Nettoyage sur RS6 Plus....

Voila une copie d'un sujet vu sur Detailing World... :D

 

This RS6 Plus is a rare beast and 1 of only 999 made' date=' not too sure how many are left but this is still going strong....Natural Leather Interior and 480 horses chugging along, not to mention over 550nm's of Torque...who needs to be detailing Supercars everyday when this would just trounce straight over them, chew 'em up and spit them out....Track ready and just pure genius German build quality....

 

Anyway on with the write up....when I turned up I saw this....[/b']

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All 4 wheels were removed and the vehicle on chocks made it easier access wise for the arches especially as it was sat so low and the rear arches are fabric....

 

 

 

Started with the wheels as usual and good old Iron X seemed to solve the issue that lie in wait....

 

 

 

Once the wheels were completed they were put to one side and the motor was then tended to....starting with the obligatory snow foam coating....

 

 

Rinsed and washed 2BM and rinsed again, Tardis and Iron X were then let loose, not much by way of contaminates showing really but never the less still some there....

 

 

Once it was all washed and clayed, which was DJ SN Clay it was all masked up ready for some action....

 

 

 

Now with this being Silver I just knew I was going to have a few issues picking out the defects but I caught a couple....

 

 

 

The readings weren't too clever either as this had previously been detailed by another detailer....

 

 

 

Pretty much the same read all way round, with the exception of the centre of the roof and the centre of the bonnet which ironically were around 117-128 mark....

 

Anywhoo the correction didnt really create too many issues and was pretty straight forward just a little caution needed to be exercised in certain areas....

 

There was also a little matter of the Natural leather that needed reviving and in truth it was looking a little tired....this was tackled with a n interior cleaner that I have had a while that is safe on all fabrics including natural leather....

 

 

 

 

The finished RS6 Plus now looks like this and was a true pleasure to work on....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fabric arches brushed and then pressure washed after being soaked with AS Active Xl....once dry were treated to Supagard Fabric Treatment....

I think you will agree not the easiest of colours to work the camera with but I did my best with it....but I had to as its baby brother was up next....track Spec RS4....

Je conseille fortement un canon à mousse. Désormais je nettoie le mien sans toucher la carrosserie à part pour secher à la serviette. Les resultats :

Attention normalement un foam gun n'est a utiliser que pour le prélavage, il faut une action mécanique pour nettoyer..........;)

Moui. Tout dépend de l'état de la voiture. Comme tu vois je n'ai pas eu besoin. Pour moi, moins on frotte la carrosserie, moins on mets de micro-rayures. Mais bon, j'ai toujours mon gant et 2 seaux s'il faut :)

Je me doute bien que si tu a une foam lance tu est équiper un minimum, mais c' été surtout pour les novices qui peuvent penser que c'est un "produit" miracle on asperge et on laisse faire puis c'est nickel un fois rincer...........;)

Ah oui, tu as raison. Ca marche pour moi comme ca parce que la carrosserie est deja en bon état et bien ciré à la base. Le canon à mousse sert comme tu dis en prélavage pour désolidariser la crasse.

 

La meilleur facon c'est le gant de lavage, méthode 2 seaux puis cirage. Ce que je fais quand j'ai un peu de temps.

 

Par contre, j'ai seché un étape dans le lavage au canon : le super produit de rincage, aussi appliqué avec le canon. Sans lequel j'aurais pas cette finition :

Je connais bien shinearama, mais moi je commande tout en France chez France detailing ou chez Shine On Wheels (en Belgique)............;)
