Bonjour à tous, je découvre ce forum audi et je le trouve trés sympa.

 

 

J'aimerai savoir si quelqu'un connait les préparations du moteur du TDI 180 CV.

 

Avec le temps, je commence à me lasser des performances de mon ALLROAD et comme je n'ai vraiment pas envie de changer... sad.gif

Le changement de la puce sur ce véhicule vaut-il vraiment le coup??? dry.gif

D'apres des sources, le Allroad est bridé a la pompe de gasole.

we just have checked the correctness of our delivery to you. It is correct.

 

The explanation for your doubts and experience is following:

 

1. Power of modification.

The serial power of the 2,5TDI 180hp is in some of the vehicles much higher. Our measurements of the dyno has shown that there are vehicles that have already more than 190 hp. Therefore the difference to 204 hp is not very big. Due to the serial injection pump it is also not possible to reach much more power than the 204 hp. Additionally you have the automatic gear box that also sucks some of the power.

We can understand that you or the customer has the feeling that the gain in power is almost not existing.

 

2. Gear box.

 

There is a difference of the shifting in the serial mode and the modified data.

When you accelerate / Kick down in the serial version you have two brake belts that are wandering towards each other before the automatic transmission shifts very smoothly the gears up.

 

Because you have with the modified ECU more torque the shifting is much rougher. But this roughness should mainly be in the situation when you or your customer is demanding the power. This means if you make a kick down the two brake belts are not wandering smoothly and slow towards each other before the next gear is shifted. Those two belts are wandering suddenly towards each other and the next gear is shifted. This constellation helps also to keep a longer lifetime of the belts, because there is a really high friction on those belts.

 

The rough shifting shows that the engine definitely has more torque than in the serial constellation.

 

You can give your customer two choices.

 

He can keep the modification as it is or he can set it back to serial and we will refund the money for it.
