    Are you sure? In italy it is an optional in all Q5 and it is usually very expensive.

    Hi guys I Need your help on this retrofit I did yesterday. I installed all and now I have cp on the radar. I need help on the code to insert on engine module. I knew to set bit 5 to 1 on byte 5 but it seems that on Q5 of years 2011 and up it is not true. So someone with acc on a q5 of 2011/12/13 could tell me the code of byte 5 and 6 of module engine? Thanks

    Jhonny, who is working on this project (installing the new firmware on MMi 3g unit)? In my opinion the problem is that MMi 3g+ has some hw different from MMI 3g and then if you install the new firmware you have some errors in drivers not found.

    Very interesting topic. It should be very useful if we could find a way to insert speed limit or installing the new MMI 3G+ software in our MMi 3G

    Sorry but it is not possibile in MMI 3G. Only with MMI 3G+ it is possibile.

    Remember that after updating fimrware and maps you will get the error "Please Check Software Version Management" and to remove that you have to use the VAG. It is only an error in module 5f but it's better to remove that.

    Yes you have to activate hidden menù using a vag cable and vcds. During the installation of the new firmware you loose the hidden menu activation. Module 5f->Adaptation 10-> read channel 06 and set the new value to 1. Test, save and done go back.

    Sorry but I should have a question about the update. I read page 7 several times but there is something which is not clear to me (I don't uderstand francais very well, sorry.....). In page 7 there is a photo where you can see ARU 9332 in white (after you chose the standard update). Did you have to select it and put Y? Thanks very much

    Johnny5377, sorry I'm writing in english but my francais is not good :icon_frown: I read in previuos post that you wrote to get always crack in the car because sometimes it seems that you get the error map is not activated. is it true? Did you get the error one time or more times? Does it happen only to you or other users?
