Yes NOY. I installed diag 2.01 and I have internet connection. I have made a read (back-up) of my DataPST.db. Are they all three identical and I can modify only one of them ? I can send you in PM my DataPST original and the one I have modded.

I did exactly as suggested. Again ... yesterday I made: - uninstall --> OK - install --> OK After a few minutes again Data Base is not available contact the dealer. It was working well since few days now. For sure it is a coincidence but now I have to reinstall database again :(

Hello people. Now I am back with the MAP reinstalled but I needed to reinstall part of the FW on my RMS850 so that I lost Green menu and everything was activated with the script. I activated again Green menu with VCDS. WLAN is still active as well as all the mod done manually according to your guide. Now I do not know if DNS is still modded as per script and fo sure there is not the mod that allow to see TMC e CAR-NET menu. I think the best should be to reinstall the script but do I need to uninstall it before or can i skip ?

Just to inform you that I did exactly what I reported above (a part delete data base) and everything is now back working :). No need to run again Keldo activator (system is remembering I run it before). Thanks to everybody.

N Normally MMI3G+ has an automatic built in recovery. Try to insert a good FW into SD1 slot and reboot the system. If the problem is not too deep, you should be able to recover it with an "emergency update" that is activated automatically. If you have used a wrong FW ... than you need to connect a serial interface (look in google: recover a bricked MMI3G+).

Indeed I installed in used defined mode. The problem is that most likely, when I mede the delete database procedure, my green menu crashed and something is now corrupted. I cannot find any post dealing with similar situations and I hope you have seen something similar on your MMI3G+. Now my idea is: - reactivate Green menu (lost during FW reinstall) - try to delete database (but I am not sure I will be allowed because no data base is installed) - Try to install manually all the VW_ECE modules (only app) Is it risky for your knoledge ?

I update the situation. 1) nav partition deleted 2) tried to reinstall tha MAP but it allowed the reinstall only of the FW part removed by partition del. 3) reinstalled the FW and the following modules have been installed very quickly: - CombiStyles - GEMMI - MapStyles - KDPreUpdate Check After this I tried to reinstall the MAP and this time the metainfo.txt has been faster but still full of N/A in all modules except in VW_ECE where I have a "?". I entered in this module and I foud several subentry with "N": CTYS3TC_ECE (0) CTYS3TC2_ECE (0) LIT3GP_ECE (0) LIT3GP2_ECE (0) ... ... GDB_ECE Entering is each of them I can activate the install of: - Bootloader (this cannot be selected ... So , finally for RNS850 the right DHCP Server Setup is: IP Address = 192.168.2.1 netmask = 255.255.255.0 IPv4 broadcast = what ????? 192.168.2.255 ? And in DHCP-Options : 3,192.168.2.1 (all the rest remains unchanged) + "Force DHCP on this network even if another server is detected".

Hello Windstar. I see you have reached a good point anyway. I have a RNS850 without SIM. I just received my TPLink MR3020 router. Could you make a summary of what you have done so far and possibly attach any script you have used or modified ? I am not very expert in linux but possibly I can test them on my car.

I apoligise for using the english language :I can understand 60% of french but I cannot write it (I'm Italian). I subscribed because this discussion is very interesting and I would like to apply. I have read the whole discussion and my first question is ... I have a Touareg with RNS 850 system (basically it should be the same of Aidi MMI 3G+). I do not have AMI connector so I am interested in the wifi solution. Do you think there is any specific mod on script to be applied for RNS850 ? The only people talking about this on VW are from russia , they are very polite but the language is really a problem even with google translator. In the discussion I have understood that I can have access via telnet to my RNS by using a script: Is this script simply enabling SSH and shall be launched at any RNS reboot ?
