  1. Hi - I spent some time on it yesterday and got it working. My main issue was the pf.conf file that I hadn't updated with uap0 interface :-). Still a couple of things : While both Audi Connect and Google Earth works, I can't access online traffic as it states my license isn't valid. As far as I understood, it should be valid for 3 years ? My car is from January 2016 (brand new) so I don't quite get it. Is there anything specific to do to make it work ? the sqlite looks like : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <tables xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="sqlite.xsd" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <tb_integer> <int_row status="invalid"> <key>45056</key> <value>1</value> <namespace>4</namespace> </int_row> <int_row status="invalid"> <key>40960</key> <value>32783</value> <namespace>4</namespace> </int_row> <int_row status="invalid"> <key>4100</key> <value>1</value> <namespace>4</namespace> </int_row> </tb_integer> </tables> Thks for the tips !
  2. Hi - What I didn't get is the alias on uap0 that should gets an IP from my mr3020. I've not been through everything yet but it seems like the mme-becker.sh script should issue a dhcp request for this alias isn't it ? In that case this might be my problem. Connecting a client to my Audi hotspot works, it gets an IP from my mr3020 as it is supposed to. In addition, from time to time when connecting a client to my Audi's hotspot, it gets an IP from the dhcp server running on the MMI. I've changed the mr3020 config to force it to be seen as "primary" dhcp server but no results. Both my /etc/dhcp/pf.conf and /etc/dhcp/nws.cdg fîles are the ones installed by default : # pf.conf : imac:newfiles husiana$ egrep -v '^(#|$)' pf.conf int_if = "en5" icmp_types = "echoreq" broadcast_add = "255.255.255.255/32" scrub in all no-df scrub out on mam0 max-mss 968 set skip on lo0 table <natRangeTable> { 192.168.1.0/24, 10.0.0.101 } nat on ppp0 from <natRangeTable> to any -> (ppp0) nat on en5 from <natRangeTable> to any -> (en5) rdr-anchor dnsRedirect1 rdr-anchor dnsRedirect2 rdr-anchor dnsRedirect3 rdr-anchor dnsRedirect4 pass in quick on mam0 keep state pass in quick on mep0 keep state pass in quick on mhp0 keep state pass in quick on $int_if keep state pass in quick on uap0 proto udp from any port bootpc to $broadcast_add port bootps keep state pass in quick on uap0 to $broadcast_add keep state pass in quick on uap0 proto udp from any to 239.255.255.250 port 1900 keep state pass in quick on uap0 proto tcp from any to any port 8100 keep state pass in quick on uap0 from any to 224.0.0.0/4 keep state pass in quick on uap0 proto udp to (uap0) port 49152:65535 anchor dialUpTrigger pass in quick inet proto icmp all icmp-type $icmp_types keep state # nws.conf : imac:newfiles husiana$ egrep -v '^(#|$)' nws.cfg MonitorService.LogMode = 1 MonitorService.MessageBufferSize = 1000 MonitorService.TimestampEnable = 1 MonitorService.LogFileSize = -1 MonitorService.LogFileName = /hbsystem/multicore/navi/N MonitorService.MessageBufferMemory = 51200 MonitorService.MonitoringEnable = 1 MonitorService.HeaderEnable = 1 MonitorService.LinefeedEnable = 1 MonitorService.FileHeaderEnable = 0 HostAgent.RegfSvcList_1 = RmssService, UPnPService, upnp HostAgent.RegfCall_1_1 = EVNT upnp NAME=STARTUP; HostAgent.RegfSvcList_2 = UPnPService, NetworkingService, upnp HostAgent.RegfCall_2_1 = EVNT UPnPService NAME=STARTUP; HostAgent.Port=2012 RmssService.DeviceName=/dev/scp_nws NetworkingService_0.type = wlan NetworkingService_0_ap.ifname = uap0 NetworkingService_0_ap.mountdir = /lib/dll/devnp-mv8688uap.so NetworkingService_0_ap.mounttype = io-pkt NetworkingService_0_ap.driver = mv8688uapdrv NetworkingService_0_ap.mountparam = irq=13,dma=0x104,fwpath=/lib/dll,clock=25M,resetmask=0 NetworkingService_uap0.ipaddress = 192.168.1.1 NetworkingService_uap0.ipnetmask = 255.255.255.0 NetworkingService_uap0.ipmode = static NetworkingService_uap0.dhcpsrange = 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.110 NetworkingService.statisticsinterval = 2000 NetworkingService.dhcpdlease = /mnt/phonedb NetworkingService.dhcpdconf = /etc NetworkingService.dnsservers = 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 NetworkingService.dhcpsmaxleasetime = 48000 NetworkingService.dhcpsdefaultleasetime = 36000 NetworkingService.pfconf = /etc/ppp/pf.conf NetworkingService_uap0.configpath = /etc/ppp/hostapd.conf UPnPService.MaxNumberServers=4 UPnPService.InterfaceName=uap0 And to finish ...   3. Adding a few things : - I've loaded the latest GO available on the ROOter - I can ping my uap0 interface from the ROOter, but still no MMI interface configured : root@ROOter:~# ping 192.168.1.1 -c3 PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: seq=0 ttl=255 time=2.003 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: seq=1 ttl=255 time=1.763 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: seq=2 ttl=255 time=1.747 ms --- 192.168.1.1 ping statistics --- 3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 1.747/1.837/2.003 ms root@ROOter:~# ifconfig wlan0 wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr EC:08:6B:B3:3E:DA inet addr:192.168.1.254 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:49 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:111 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:9307 (9.0 KiB) TX bytes:13676 (13.3 KiB) Additional outputs : 20161005_163058 - step 12.1 netstat -r Routing tables Internet: Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use Mtu Interface 0/8 link#5 UC 0 0 - uap0 10.0.0/24 link#3 UC 1 0 - mam0 10.0.0.255 link#3 UHLc 1 1 - mam0 localhost.localdom localhost.localdom UH 2 105 33192 lo0 192.168.1/24 link#5 UC 3 0 - uap0 192.168.1.1 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 UHLc 1 0 - lo0 192.168.1.110 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 UHLc 2 8 - uap0 192.168.1.254 ec:08:6b:b3:3e:da UHLc 0 2 - uap0 239.255.255.250/32 192.168.1.1 UGS 0 7 - uap0 20161005_163058 - step 12.2 route -f 10.0.0.255 done 192.168.1.1 0.1c.d7.6f.3a.e6 done 192.168.1.110 0.1c.d7.6f.3a.e6 done 192.168.1.254 ec.8.6b.b3.3e.da done 239.255.255.250 192.168.1.1 done
  4. Hi François - so to answer your questions : - Yes, I meant the ROOter fw, I haven't updated it to the latest "GO" version so I'll do so. - In regards to my MMI not having its default IP set properly ... I haven't touched anything to be honest apart following the doc. I've used the "MMI-3GP-GE-WIFI.zip" package and that's it. Don't you know where are all the infos stored about the default IP of the MMI interface ? My /etc/networks file does only contain a loopback interface which seems to be "corrupted", shouldn't it point to "127.0.0.0" ?! : # # Network Database # loopback 127 - Do you need any specific file from my etc dir ? /mnt/efs-system/etc/: total 5773 -rw------- 1 root root 25240 Jan 01 00:00 166x76audi.ipod -rw------- 1 root root 4767 Jan 01 00:00 DefaultScopeJ9.hbtc -rw------- 1 root root 2081 Jan 01 00:00 DefaultSwdlScope.hbtc -rw------- 1 root root 11000 Jan 01 00:00 IRCConfig.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 2845012 Jan 01 00:00 NvDspCodecs.elf drwxrwxrwx 3 root root 716 Jan 01 00:00 browser -rw------- 1 root root 584 Jan 01 00:00 components.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 839 Jan 01 00:00 componentsSWDL.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 336 Jan 01 00:00 dataSchedule.xml -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 213 Jan 01 00:00 dhcpd.uap0.conf -rw------- 1 root root 190 Jan 01 00:00 group -rw------- 1 root root 8 Jan 01 00:00 hmi_country.txt -rw------- 1 root root 19 Jan 01 00:00 hmi_type.txt -rw------- 1 root root 98 Jan 01 00:00 hosts drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 48 Jan 01 00:00 imageInfo -rw------- 1 root root 5822 Jan 01 00:00 iom.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 4262 Jan 01 00:00 ipod.cfg lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 Jan 01 00:00 layermanagerV2_nvidia.cfg -> /etc/layermanagerV2_nvidia_single.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 34606 Jan 01 00:00 mme.conf -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3091 Jul 26 2015 mmelauncher.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 3037 Jan 01 00:00 mmelauncher.cfg.bak -rw------- 1 root root 37 Jan 01 00:00 networks -rw------- 1 root root 296 Jan 01 00:00 passwd drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 36 Jan 01 00:00 ppp -rw------- 1 root root 299 Jan 01 00:00 qdb-noHDD.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 445 Jan 01 00:00 qdb.cfg -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Sep 26 2016 resolv.conf -rw------- 1 root root 27 Jan 01 00:00 shadow drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 696 Jan 01 00:00 splashscreens -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 25 Jan 01 00:19 sysctl.conf drwxrwxr-x 3 root root 36 Jan 01 00:00 system lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 Jan 01 00:05 umass-enum.cfg -> /mnt/ifs-root/etc/umass-enum_def.cfg drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 104 Jan 01 00:00 version - My ifconfig looks like : lo0: flags=8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 33192 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 pflog0: flags=100<PROMISC> mtu 33192 mam0: flags=843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX> mtu 1008 address: 00:00:00:00:01:00 inet 10.0.0.100 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.0.255 mhp0: flags=842<BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX> mtu 1500 address: 00:00:00:00:01:00 uap0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 address: 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 media: <unknown type> autoselect inet 192.168.1.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255 inet alias 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000 broadcast 255.255.255.255 link 00:00:00:00:00:00 Thanks :-).
  5. Hey guys, I've an A5 (2012 model) with an MMI 3GP and P900 loaded. Trying to get that work, I got an MR3020, loaded the proper dd-wrt fw on it. I got a 3G stick (which is working fine). Following the guide to do the config, I can't get it work, it seems like the router gets disconnected from the audi wifi interface and doesn't reconnect automatically. List of questions I had : - Is there a way to get root access to the MMI ? - Can you confirm the MR-3020 needs to connect as "client" to the Audi hotspot ? - Been playing with routes and debug scripts for a while but the MMI never seem to ping my router ... I notices the uap0 interface had an alias configured, not sure where that's coming from ? 20161003_123330 - step 11 ifconfig uap0 uap0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 address: 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 media: <unknown type> autoselect inet 192.168.1.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255 inet alias 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000 broadcast 255.255.255.255 link 00:00:00:00:00:00 - Both resolv.conf and routes seem to be fine ? 20161003_123330 - step 11.e resolv.conf nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 20161003_123330 - step 12 route show Routing tables Internet: Destination Gateway Flags 0.0.0.0/8 link#5 U 10.0.0.0/24 link#3 U 10.0.0.255 link#3 UHL localhost.localdom 127.0.0.1 UH 192.168.1.0/24 link#5 U 192.168.1.1 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 UHL 192.168.1.110 00:1c:d7:6f:3a:e6 UHL 192.168.1.254 link#5 UHL 239.255.255.250/32 192.168.1.1 UG What I noticed as well, in the green menu, is that the MMI never had an IP address assigned ... I can see the dns set properly but that's almost it. and ... I can't ping the Audi wifi (192.168.1.1) whenever the router is connected to it ... Some pictures : Any tricks ? Thanks
Cdlt
