The PIERBURG MAF : A 611 094 00 48 ~ 82 EUROS ,ask Mercedes garaje(demander un garaje Mecedes). The pin one is the temperature sensor,is the same that Bosch ,size,etc. Be careful Hitachi sensor have different pins ( ca va pas). The small problem I have still is the motor starting at low temperatures,the Pierburg Maf is very sensible at the antiretour air this is coming from the exhaust gases via the Egr valve, I push a little bit the pedal and OK. I saw that people that changed the Bosch for the Hitachi Maf, this is maybe better than the Pierburg maf ,changed the pins cables and un setpoint with the Vagcom tool in the adaptacion channel (the problem I have is the pin code 7 secrets numbers that the garaje keep secret). The APG motor a3 20v do not exist in the last list,maybe I am the first to test it (The MAF DEBITmetre). For people with interest in the Maf new technology Pierburg,this measure also the antiretour air and the intake temperature. The problems with A3 ,A4 ,etc. is also the EGR:n18 valve in my car ,the N80 valve from the gas tank,and the secondary air system in the cold start. If this valves are sending air ,CO,CO2,HC,H20,etc en the output of the MAF,this one get confused and the motor lambda goes very far from the ideal point (1) the car spend a lot of gas... if it is rich or lack of power ,like me with the Bosch alarm p1128 lean . What made me confused I am not mecanic is that the ECU bosch or the computer in the car takes command even with the Maf damaged (futu ) and the car runs with fixed air values speed dependent . Looks simple the MAF gives one voltaje from 0 to 5 volts full air M. But it takes a lot of technologie to do it right.
