À propos de petariga

  1. Bonjour messieurs, excusez-moi, mais je ne parle pas le français, donc avec votre permission, je voudrais utiliser l'anglais. I would like to thank hsd92, frankiegom, jeko and all the others for the excellent tutorial on how to enable internet in SIM-less version of MMI 3G+. It took me a few hours to gather an old router, flash it with recent OpenWrt 15.05, get some SD card and follow your guidance in the pdf step by step. What a surprise, everything works smoothly on the first try, I am able to access Google Earth maps & Street view, Audi connect services and even to use car's wifi hotspot to share the same internet connection with other devices. However, there is still one issue and that is Online traffic data. I am not able to activate it. MMI states "Your traffic data licence is being checked. Please wait...", then "The online traffic data must be activated before they can be used. Activate online traffic data" and ends up one level of menu up at "Online traffic data licence". No error message at all. Unfortunately, my Audi has just celebrated 3,5 years, which might be the cause. On the other hand, it might be also connected to the denial of access to all non-SIM MMI 3G+ at Audi's servers, which has been reported by community in the last months. I have original maps, updated once at the Audi service about a year ago, so this should not be a problem. What would you suggest now? Do you know about any way, how to enable the Online traffic data service? I have already tried to contact local Audi dealer, with no success so far. Obviously, the first easy answer was: It can't be done. P.S. For hsd92 - there is still a mistake in the English part of "MMI-3GP-odiconnect-v1.0.pdf" in the page 34, 3rd row should be "3,192.168.1.254". The picture is correct, however the text points the gateway to 192.168.1.1. It might confuse some people. French version in the page 15 is fine.
